T3 has yet to launch--but is already making an impact...

(PLEASE NOTE: Because T3 works THROUGH churches and charities, we do not often get quotes directly from the recipients.  We also have to maintain privacy given these are health issues.)

Below is a list of some examples; there are more.

 

Family of Five Living in a Motel

  • Story: A family of 5 -- including young children -- lost their home due to the impacts of cancer and depression. T3 and local Schuylkill County pastors were able to help them with emergency housing, get them into an apartment, and help them secure a new vehicle.  The family was then embraced by a local church as they proceed on their journey.

Veteran Living in a Car

  • Story: A veteran who served our country has severe diabetes and was ultimately forced to live in her car with her three dogs, which she did not want to lose. Trials to Triumph, through the incredible and loving help of a local church, was able to assist her with finding and securing temporary housing for two months (with her dogs) -- until her VA benefits kick in.

Family Facing Eviction

  • Story: A mom with stage 4 kidney disease and on dialysis was going to be evicted in two weeks; Trials to Triumph got her into an apartment, gave her an Uber gift card, and bought her a couch. She and her daughter are now going to join a church in Pottsville.

  • ​Quote from the mom: "I hope one day to eventually meet you in person. My mother feels the same way. I still can't believe the way things happen. It truly was a miracle. I truly thank you."

Young Quadriplegic in Desperate Situation

  • Story: A teenage girl became a quadriplegic after a car accident -- and the family was desperate for financial help as she required medical equipment and on-going care.

  • Partner: Local church 

  • ​T3 worked with the church and a third party, and the reaction was tears of joy.

Family of Eight Unable to Pay Rent

  • Story: A family of eight was devastated by an accident that caused the mother to lose her job -- and the father was laid off work. They do not yet belong to a church, but a local church called T3 to get them support.  T3 was able to join forces with them and pay for their rent.

Young Family Devasted by Late-Stage Cancer 

  • Story: A young woman--with a husband and two kids--was crushed by a late-stage cancer diagnosis that caused her to stop working. T3 was able to provide her with the funds necessary to meet her financial hurdles--and even gave her the finances to enjoy a getaway with the family amid her treatments.

  • Partner: Local church in Schuylkill County

Child with Brain Tumor

  • Story: A congregant of a local church has a child with a brain tumor, and he lost his job. His car--the same car that takes his child to and from appointments--broke down. T3 worked with a local pastor to give him the funds to fix his vehicle.

Elderly Widower Needed New Roof

  • Story: An elderly widow with health issues was experiencing fear and uncertainty because her roof was in horrible condition and leaking badly.  The local church pulled together a team of five people to provide the labor--and T3 was able to buy her a new roof!

Young Woman Can't Pay Rent

  • Story: A local church had a congregant who could not pay her rent due to mental health issues.  T3 paid her rent for one month.

Man with Cancer Quits Treatments Due to Debt

  • Story: Port Carbon gentleman with cancer had undergone surgery but has delayed recommended chemotherapy infusions due to significant utility bills he could not afford. T3 caught him up on all of his past due utility bills so he could get the treatment he needed.

Woman Unable to Afford Pain Treatment

  • Story: A Minersville woman had ongoing neck pain for the past year and required three treatments that she could not afford.  T3 provided the finances needed to ease her pain.

Vet Behind on Utility Bills

  • Story: A vet received an honorable discharge due to nerve damage and was waiting for his benefits.  He was behind in his utility bills, and T3 was able to pay his past due amounts.

  • Recipient's Family: "Truly, words just can't express our profound gratitude. We are so blessed to have people like [T3] in this world. I honestly believe God had you call upon [us] to help us both."

Man Unable to Work Due to Health Issues

  • Story: A man suffered an injury on the job and then suffered additional medical setbacks. He was left without a vehicle, no heat, no water, and no food.  T3 worked through Servants to All and was able to pay for his past-due bills, food, and coal.  

  • Partner: Servants to All

  • Recipient: "[T3 is] definitely one of God's saints helping to restore faith. I cannot express to you enough gratitude from my heart to really express how much this means to me. . . thank you with all my heart!"
