Who we are
The Need
Every one of us is one diagnosis or one accident away from requiring extensive medical care. And yet, many are understandably not prepared. In fact, two-thirds of people who file for bankruptcy state that medical issues contributed to their financial downfall, and one in 12 Americans with medical debt reports that these costs contributed to losing the family's home. Separately, there is also a decline in church attendance year after year, with churches closing and people turning elsewhere to fill any void in their lives. The Trials to Triumph Foundation was formed to address these issues.
Our Purpose
To support local families who are overwhelmed by the crushing weight of financial hardship due to medical struggles. When it feels like the world is falling apart, we want them to know—they’re not alone.
The Foundation
Welcome to the Trials to Triumph (T3) Foundation, a faith-based, 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to helping Schuylkill County residents struggling with medical trauma.
T3’s recipients must be facing financial hardship due to medical issues or unable to undergo expensive and necessary medical procedures due to costs. Each family will receive financial support through the Christian Churches of Schuylkill County. Below are example areas of support:
PLEASE NOTE: Services beyond those provided by T3, such as drug and alcohol rehab, mental health, etc., will be coordinated through partnerships.
Community Events
In an effort to build a family feel and fellowship in Schuylkill County, T3 will hold several events, including family fundraisers, throughout the year. Click here to learn more!

The Trials to Triumph Foundation (T3) takes a unique approach. While most charities aim to meet a single need for many families—such as providing food or shelter—T3 offers temporary financial support across multiple fundamental needs.
Plus, the recipients will receive their support through local Christian churches. This process will help encourage church attendance in Schuylkill County and foster a family feel and community atmosphere.
